Northwest Transmission Line

2014 PHASE 2

Completion of the 287 kV transmission line constructed through challenging and isolated mountainous terrain extending from the Bob Quinn airstrip to the Imperial Metal’s Red Chris Mine and surrounding communities at Tatogga Lake in British Columbia.

 

RDL’s  Role:

  • Drill and install guy anchors and concrete foundations for approximately 100 287 kV transmission towers  from Skeena to Bob Quin Lake, then to Red Chris Mine utilizing multiple heli portable drill units to complete micro piling and guy anchor installations.
