2018 Long Lake Hydro Transmission Line

Completion of 10 km of 138 kV transmission line extending over the BC Coast Range north of Stewart.This line will connect power generated from the dam at the head of Long Lake to the BC Hydro grid to Stewart and surrounding areas in British Columbia.

RDL’s  Role:

  • Plan and execute the completion of tower foundations through mountainous terrain  utilizing our heli portable equipment to drill install and complete grouting completions for:

    • rock anchors and foundations for monopole towers

    • drill and install guy anchors

    • drill and install rock bolts
