Challenge

Full rock-anchor and foundation responsibility for the FORAN Mine transmission program across tough Canadian Shield terrain — surface rock and shallow bedrock within one to five metres of grade, with winter conditions that demanded disciplined staging and execution.

Access & terrain

Canadian Shield ROW with extensive surface rock and shallow bedrock. Foundations and anchors required heli-portable and hand-drill spreads, multiple track units, and winterized grout operations coordinated with the client.

Scope

• Drill and install foundations with custom heli drills and custom hand drills
• Install anchors with hand drills
• Support foundation and anchor work with custom heli compressors
• Stage multiple track units across the program
• Run winterized grout operations for anchors and foundations

Outcome

200+ structures delivered with zero incidents, finishing ahead of schedule — crews working efficiently with the client to get the job done safely, on time, and done right.
