IF47 — 138 kV Remediation — SaskPower

Challenge

Forest fires took down structures on SaskPower’s IF47 138 kV line. Revolution Drilling remobilized a fully heli-portable crew to restore foundations and anchors so the corridor could return to reliable service.

Access & terrain

Full heli job — no track-mounted drilling units. Every pad was reached by helicopter through burned forest and limited ROW access.

Scope

• Remediate foundations and anchors on IF47 after wildfire damage
• Drill and install with custom heli drills, custom hand drills, and other hand drills
• Support heli-portable drilling with custom heli compressors
• Restore structure reliability on the 138 kV line

Outcome

Fully heli-portable remediation that returned IF47 structures to reliable service for SaskPower after the wildfire failures.
