Details
Transmission anchor and foundation drilling installs the structural connection between a tower and the ground — rock anchors, soil anchors, micropiles, or drilled foundations sized for guy loads and structure reactions. Rock anchors are used where competent bedrock is within practical drill depth and can take bond or mechanical anchorage. Soil anchors are selected where overburden or weathered zones govern capacity. Micropiles are small-diameter drilled and grouted piles used when conventional foundations are limited by access, rock, or load path.
